P-P-Piggy Suncatcher

We raised pigs when I was growing up, so I wanted to pay tribute to my somewhat eclectic childhood and create a stained glass butchers diagram. This one goes out to Sherlock Ham and Captain Ham! Put him in a window or on a wall!

I use the Tiffany copper foil method. Drawn, cut, foiled and soldered by moi!

The solder does contain lead, so washing hands after handling is recommended.

Please note glass contains many anomalies such as air bubbles, ripples and pigment differences. These are common qualities in glass and should be celebrated rather than seen as a detraction.

I recommend hanging from a small nail in the window or hook hanging from the top of the window. Suction cups can lose their suck-y power and cause the piece to fall. Don't let that happen!!
