FAQs

Are your ceramics dishwasher safe?

Yes, however I do recommend hand washing the fruit bowls.

Can I put my pottery in the microwave?

Yes.  The mug will still get a little hot, so be careful when you take it out!

Are your pieces food safe?

Yep!

What is the best way to care for my ceramics?

Good old dishsoap and water works great.

Do you offer customs?

Sure!  If it is something I think I can make, I'd be happy to explore options.

When should I expect to receive my order?

In stock items are mailed within 5 business days of purchase.  Made to order pieces are shipped 2-3 weeks from order placement, depending on size.

I need something NOW!  How do I make that happen?

I usually have some work in-stock.  Contact me and I can let you know what I've got.  I also have my work in a number of stores around Portland.  Check out my Where to Find page for more information.

What is your return policy?

  • Damages - Ceramics are fragile!  I pack with the utmost care and use recyclable materials when possible, but sometimes orders may arrived damaged.  If so, please photograph the broken
work, including pictures of packing materials and contact me within 72 hours.
  • Return policy - Returns are evaluated on a case by case basis.  I do not strive for perfection in my work and embrace the wonkiness of the ceramic process.  Things likely won’t be
perfectly round and glaze variations are common.  If these imperfections are outside of your liking, please contact me.  I will accept returns, however the return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Local Pick-Up - Please contact me to arrange a pick up time.  In busy times during on-line shows or at the holidays, I may set specified pick-up blocks.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes! Please contact me for my line sheet.

Do you teach private pottery classes?

Not yet, but I've been thinking about it! If you are interested in learning or have a group that would like to do a fun workshop, please get in touch and we can figure something out.
